Welcome to Wonder Wander! We’re here to make your travels seamless, special, and stress-free. Before we start planning your adventure, here are a few friendly notes on how things work.
1. How We Work – Think of us as your travel butler.
We have simplified travel spots by cities grouping and listing the hotspots and activities for you to have freedom in selecting what excites you. Forget tours and tourist traps!
Especially in places like China, the amount of information you find from social and blogs may require a lot of effort, and sometimes inaccurate information. All your trips onground will be managed by your personal driver, which allows flexibility and customised itinerary.
You pick places and activities you want, combine cities as you wish and we’ll put it all together.
Just remember to combine cities that are close to one another to minimise your travel time. If you combine cities, inter-cities transportation will be planned by us and deets shared with you.
The prices you see on checkout page are close-to-actual price in USD $. The base cost will be the driver fee per day.
Once we chat with our on-ground partners and finalize the details, we’ll share a full itinerary (with the final cost) for you to approve and to make full payment to lock the price.
2. Booking Your Trip
To get started, we ask for a USD 50 planning fee after you’ve done checking out your desired itinerary. This lets us dive into designing your custom trip. (Psst… this part isn’t refundable, since it covers our time and love in building your itinerary.)
We will share the plans (and advices on how to improve your itinerary) within 3 days via email or Whatsapp chat (your preferred choice).
Once you’re happy with the plan, we’ll send the final cost. You’ll just need to settle the balance to lock everything in.
Payments are accepted through the methods listed on our site.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
The USD 50 planning fee is always non-refundable, but…
We understand you may have emergencies that requires postponing the trip. Provide us the justifiable reason 14 days before travel date and we will keep that USD 50 credit for your next trip (up to 6 months).
If you need to cancel after confirming with a full payment, we’ll do our best to help — but refunds will depend on hotels, guides, and activity providers’ policies. Any amount that is not committed at that point of time and refundable by third parties will be refunded to you.
Flights, delays, and other “plot twists” outside our control are your responsibility but we’ll always do our best to support you by rearranging the bookings as much as allowed. Just update us as soon as you encounter delays.
If you decided not to proceed with the final itinerary shared and decided not to make full payment, we will keep that USD 50 as a credit for next booking made within 3 months.
4. Your Part in the Journey
Please share accurate details with us — from your name as in your passport to your must-try food list.
Make sure you’ve got valid visas, passports, and travel insurance before you go.
Want to make changes after confirming? Totally possible, but some updates may mean extra charges.
During your trip, if you’ve decided to just skip a hotspot that you already booked because you just want to chill longer in the hotel/anywhere you like, just let the driver know and they will follow your timing and drop you at places you like. (note that the ticket you paid will not be refundable, the expense of last minute whims)
Other than that, from the moment you’re entrusted to our guide, enjoy the travel experience that feels like a VIP with total freedom. We would also appreciate it if you share with us your experience and ways we can improve.
5. Our Part in the Journey
We carefully curate our drivers, guides, hotels, and experiences to give you the best. But since they’re independent partners, we can’t take responsibility for mishaps, delays, or other hiccups on their side.
That said, we’ll always be here to help troubleshoot and smoothen things.
6. Using Our Website
Everything you see on our site — the photos, words, and branding — belongs to Wonder Wander. Please don’t reuse it without our okay.
Users must not misuse the website or attempt unauthorized access.
7. Legal Bits
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts (though we’d always prefer to solve things over a friendly chat first).
